Midwest Weather

Midwest Weather

Partner & Forecaster

Midwest Weather is an independent, Iowa-based forecasting outlet and a forecasting partner of ZoneWatch, launched by Lane Ingle-Shaw in 2020. Forecasting from Linn County in eastern Iowa, he covers the storms that define the Corn Belt: blizzards and winter storms, severe weather and tornado outbreaks, heat waves, and flooding. Six years in, his forecasts reach an audience of more than 80,000 that stretches from Kansas and Nebraska east to Indiana and Michigan, with a focus on telling Midwest communities what a system will actually do where they live rather than what it might do somewhere in the region.
